SIMO - Operational Maritime Engineering Solutions
The goal of SIMO is to be a reference in the field of numerical predictions of waves and currents, and therefore become essential services firm for companies that have the sea as their business environment to public administrations and have the capacity and need to manage the coastline, the water flowed to the sea, fishing and tourism associated with beaches.
Its products consist of making numerical predictions of currents and waves. Also, with predictions of ocean currents, there is the ability to use them coupled model for transport of substances in the sea, which predict the evolution of discharges of pollutants (e.g. oil) in the marine environment.
It also develops other services including: engineering, ports, ocean outfalls, offshore structures, coastal defense, coastal dynamics, coastal dynamics, ......
