M. Stortti Business Consulting Group is proud to see another of his projects becoming reality: the Logistics Platform Biguaçu in Santa Catarina.
The project is not originally thought of the city. The shipyard of $ 3 billion of OSX was even for the Rio de Janeiro. But the REX, the real estate arm of the EBX Group of Eike Batista, is finalizing a new project that provides logistics complex in an area of 2.7 million square feet of Biguaçu.
The property was purchased at the same time that the group acquired the land where the OSX wanted to build a shipyard. The new design and logistics services, including a luxury hotel.
A group of representatives from REX was gathered yesterday morning for a little over an hour, with a team at City Hall. The project follows the line of REX Plaza project, a development platform in the city of Zaragoza, Spain. The Spanish proposal provides logistics industrial areas, airport and rail, plus a business park, the social, commercial and service.
According to Abreu, the proposed pole to Biguaçu is being formulated to meet the South region of Brazil and the Southern Cone. The preliminary design provides specific areas for warehouses, offices, areas of customs for import and export enterprises, hotel, outlet shopping center and a truck (service area to repair and freight vehicles). There was space also for integrated areas of leisure. The hotel would include the proposed Batista launched a network with one hundred projects with the signing Courtyard.
The office would focus on technology companies and call centers. But the stronger will be the logistical structures. The project would be funded by REX and own funds. The sheds with drawing between 1500 and 5 million square meters l can be rented or purchased.
As the details of the design and construction schedule have yet to be defined, REX did not disclose the planned investment and not the date for the start of work. But Abreu said that the per chy is that the area is fully occupied by the infrastructure in different stages within a period of up to 10 years.
