Summary of Water Week 2011 ADB, held in Manila from 7 to 11 November. The Water Learning Week is a forum organized by the Asian Development Bank aimed at strengthening and building networks and partnerships within the water sector in Asia-Pacific. Thus, it is intended that actions can be implemented to improve the management and distribution of water in the region.

The Water Learning Week is a forum organized by the Asian Development Bank (the ADB) aimed at strengthening and building networks and partnerships within the water sector in Asia-Pacific. Thus, it is intended that actions can be implemented to improve the management and distribution of water in the region.

The conferences have focused on the following four main lines of the water sector, which has tried to find solutions to current problems and future:

     Water quality and watershed health.
     Risk management of natural disasters and increased resistance.
     Preparation of watersheds for the future.
     Sharing knowledge for development training.
