FCC and RoadBridge will build the new runway at Dublin Airport
The contract includes the construction of the runway itself, as well as the associated taxiways and is part of a larger infrastructure project of € 320 million.
Roadbridge has already participated in the preparation work of the track. In 2016, he was appointed main contractor for a part of the project.
For its part, FCC built a fuel installation of 40 million euros that was inaugurated this year. Roadbridge and FCC hired the Spanish company Sener and the engineering consultancy Arup to design construction works for the runway while the bidding process continued and to the consultancy ORFISA IKC for the preparation of the technical bid documentation.
The construction of the 3.1 km runway, which will be inaugurated in 2021, will begin at the end of the year.
