Remodeling of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
ORFISA has collaborated in the development of the study and offer of the demolition works to be carried out in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium reform. The remodeling works will begin at the end of the season at the end of May.
A new museum, two premiere squares of more than 25,000 m2 (Castellana and Padre Damián), a 360 degree video scoreboard, gastronomic offer, shopping arcades, boutiques … A leisure destination around Real Madrid that will become a benchmark of the capital. The reconstruction will last three or four years. The work will not affect the team matches, since most of the work will be done during the summer break.
The first step will be the demolition of a shopping center that will be converted into a public square next to the stadium, in the Madrid neighborhood of Chamartín. The access towers on the Paseo de la Castellana side, one of the most notable features of the stadium, will be delmolic and reconstructed and will be covered by a new steel facade when the work is completed.
The renovated Bernabéu will have a new section of stands, and capacity will exceed 80,000 seats.
