METRO EXPRESS LTD. MAURITIUS.
The Metro Express Project was officially launched on Friday 10 March 2017 at the Old Train Station in Caudan, Port Louis, with the unveiling of a Commemorative Plaque by the Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, External Communications and National Development Unit and Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Pravind Jugnauth.
To overcome this we developed a project solution that involved a world-class public transportation light rail transit project to serve commuters and the general public travelling between Curepipe and Port Louis, a distance of roughly 26 km. The MLRT project aims to address these challenges in the public transport system through the delivery of a light rapid transit system, including bus-rail interchanges, local stations, depot and major roadworks to accommodate the light rail system.
